Your account
- You must be at least 16 years old to create an account.
- Give accurate sign-up details and keep your password safe. You're responsible for what happens under your account.
- One person, one founder page. Don't create pages that pretend to be someone else.
Usernames
Your username is your link (founders.page/yourname). Usernames are first come, first served, but we may reclaim or change one that impersonates a person, company or brand, is misleading or offensive, or is being held without a real page. Some names are reserved. Deleted usernames stay reserved and aren't reassigned.
Your content
You own what you put on your page. By publishing it, you give founders.page a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, display, reproduce and distribute it in order to run and promote the service. That includes showing it on your page, in our directory, in search results, in previews and share images, in our llms.txt files and through our app for AI assistants such as ChatGPT. This licence ends when you remove the content or delete your page, except for copies already shared or cached elsewhere.
You're responsible for your content, and you promise that:
- you have the right to publish it (including photos, logos and screenshots);
- it's truthful, especially revenue, user numbers and other metrics, which visitors may rely on;
- it doesn't break any law or anyone else's rights.
What's not allowed
- Impersonation, or false claims about yourself, your products or your results.
- Spam, scams, phishing, malware, or links to them.
- Illegal, hateful, harassing, sexually explicit or violent content.
- Publishing other people's private information.
- Scraping the site in bulk, overloading it, probing it for vulnerabilities or getting around limits. Normal search engine and AI crawlers that follow our robots.txt are welcome.
- Using founders.page to send unsolicited messages to the founders listed on it.
We may remove content, hide a page or suspend an account that breaks these rules, usually with notice but without it where needed to protect people or the service.
Information about founders
Founder pages, including revenue and user figures, are written by the founders themselves. Unless a figure is marked as verified, we don't check it. Don't make investment or business decisions based only on what a page says. The same applies to answers an AI assistant gives using our app: they come from founders' own pages and may be incomplete or out of date.
Paid features
founders.page is free to start. Some features may be offered as paid plans. Their prices and terms will be shown before you buy, and those terms apply in addition to these.
Ending your use
You can hide or delete your page at any time from the dashboard, or ask us to erase your account by emailing founderspage.info@gmail.com. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms. We may also change or discontinue parts of the service, and will give reasonable notice before shutting it down entirely.
Disclaimers
founders.page is provided “as is” and “as available”. We work hard to keep it running and your data safe, but we don't promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free, and to the extent the law allows we disclaim all implied warranties, including fitness for a particular purpose. Links to products and sites run by founders are their responsibility, not ours.
Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, founders.page won't be liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses, or for lost profits, revenue or data. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or 100 US dollars. Nothing here limits liability that can't be limited by law.
If your content or your use of founders.page leads to a claim against us, you agree to cover the costs that result, to the extent the claim is caused by your breach of these terms.
Reporting content
To report a page that breaks these terms or infringes your rights (including copyright), email founderspage.info@gmail.com with the page link and what's wrong. We review every report.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. We'll change the date at the top and email account holders about significant changes. Continuing to use founders.page after a change means you accept the new terms.
